On March 15, 2014 the Billings Symphony Orchestra will display a colorful array of children’s artwork during "Russian Days & Arabian Nights". Be carried away to exotic lands with Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5, that celebrates triumph and the greatness of the human spirit, and Nielsen’s Aladdin Suite, which paints a colorful picture of ancient Arabia. Artwork created by Billings Public Schools 4th Grade students representing their interpretation of the music will be projected behind the orchestra during the performance.
Art work will be turned in to the Symphony office by January 24th so they can prepare the show for March 15, 2014.
We have been told that there will be a free concert on Saturday afternoon for students and their families. If you are interested in a ticket for the Saturday evening performance, please contact the Symphony office at 406-252-3610.
